What this website collects
Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, your phone number if you choose to give one, and your message. There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up, and no shopping basket on this site.
The form also carries a hidden field that people never see and automated spam scripts tend to fill in. If it is filled in, the message is discarded. Where anti-spam verification is switched on, that check is performed by Cloudflare and tells us only whether the submission looks automated.
What we do with it
Your enquiry is emailed to us so that we can answer it. We use it to reply to you and, if you go on to book, to arrange that booking. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.
Who else can see it
- Our email provider, which delivers the message from the website to our inbox.
- Cloudflare, which serves this website and filters malicious traffic. It processes the technical details of your request, including your IP address, to do that.
- Our web developer and host, Pressific, where they need access to keep the site working.
- Google, through Google Analytics, which tells us how many people visit and which pages they read.
We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell or share your details for marketing.
Google Analytics records the pages you view and a few specific actions: opening our facility video, reaching the contact page, sending the enquiry form, and starting a WhatsApp conversation. It records those as counts of what happened, not as anything that names you.
Cookies
This site does not set advertising cookies. Google Analytics sets cookies that count your visit and recognise your browser if you come back, so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. Cloudflare may set a cookie that is strictly necessary for security and for keeping the site available. Where anti-spam verification is switched on, it may also set a strictly necessary cookie.
You can block these in your browser settings, or use Google\'s own opt-out add-on, and the site will work exactly as it does now.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep a record of the arrangement. When they are no longer needed, we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@dog-house.ae and we will deal with it. If you would prefer that photographs or videos of your pet are not used on our social media, tell us and we will opt you out, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.
Children
This website is aimed at dog owners and is not directed at children.
Changes
If what we do with your information changes, we will update this page.
